Proper easy chicken Parmesan recipes can be very difficult to prepare, but no worries - I have for you easy Parmesan recipes that can become three recipes, depends on the sauce you're using and your mood for that day. My advice to you, always use shortcuts in order to save time. Use pre-made pasta sauces, you can find good quality without additives such as artificial colors, monosodium glutamate etc.. You have to remember that the price doesn't tell you anything about the quality of the product. Just read the labels and you'll be able to find the cheapest yet best quality sauce.
Another thing that you should keep in mind, is to use what you have in the fridge. I mean that you can substitute mozzarella cheese for cheddar cheese or mixed cheeses, basically, use whatever you have.
4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch (1.5 cm) thickness
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
seasoned bread crumbs
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
8 slices mozzarella cheese, or more if you like
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce tomato base
Or
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce pepper base
Or
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce 4 cheeses
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Whisk together egg and milk. Dip the chicken breasts in milk and egg mixture and then in bread crumbs.
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken breasts in hot oil on both sides until golden. It will take about 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
Set chicken breasts in a casserole dish. Slice 8 pieces of mozzarella cheese and put two on each chicken breast.
Pour 1 jar of your preferable spaghetti sauce for this evening over the whole dish.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little more mozzarella. Bake at 350F (180C) for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
Serve with any type of pasta you like, garlic bread and/or nice green salad.
